Hilton & Richie stir things up in Vegas

No strangers to drama, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie had local security on high alert over the weekend.

Things got tense around 2 a.m. Sunday when Hilton’s ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos realized she and boyfriend Benji Madden of the rock group Good Charlotte were being seated close to the Greek shipping heir at Blush nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas.

Witnesses said Niarchos dashed out of the club as soon as he saw the couple. The rocker reportedly has a beef with Niarchos, who wasn’t taking any chances, given his hasty solo exit.

About 45 minutes earlier, Richie, who recently had a baby with Joel Madden, Benji’s brother, was involved in a catfight in the valet area at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Security whisked Richie away, according to spies.

Hilton and Richie had attended the Good Charlotte concert at the Hard Rock pool before joining the Maddens and entertainment producer Jeff Beacher at Wasted Space, Carey Hart’s new club at the hotel.

Richie, whose daughter is 5 months old, recently vowed she would not be getting in trouble anymore “because I want my child to look up to me. … I want to show her the right path.”(source)

Paris Hilton now can add fashion designer to her long list of accomplishments. On Tuesday Paris showed her collection at California Market Week, and it seemed like a million looks came down the runway!! All the models were carrying number cards, and I think she covered every trend that was seen on the NYC, London, Milan, and Paris runways. She showed lots of plaid, metallic clothing, leggings in super bright 80's colors, lots of bows, and menswear inspired pieces.

According to Life & Style, Paris Hilton recently began dating Benji Madden. Paris reportedly met Benji through BFF Nicole Richie, who is engaged to Benji’s twin brother Joel. Paris and Benji hooked up shortly after he ended his engagement to Sophie Monk.

Life and Style magazine reports Madden and Hilton were inseparable when they met up at a party at Los Angeles nightclub Villa on Thursday night.

A source tells the publication, “When she saw Benji, she only had eyes for him. She walked over and gave him a huge kiss. It was over the top and lots of tongue was involved.

“They hibernated in a corner booth… The entire time, she stroked his arm and rubbed his leg as she whispered in his ear.”

The PURE nightclub in Las Vegas is being investigated by the IRS

Sources in Vegas said IRS agents arrived at the hot spot this week and “took some laptops. It is serious.” An insider said, “Ever since articles came out about how much profit the Las Vegas clubs are making, the IRS has been sniffing around. This won’t be the only place they are looking at closely.” A rep for the club - which pays “celebs” like Paris Hilton large sums to make appearances - said, “Pure Management Group is fully cooperating with this IRS investigation and looks forward to a quick and satisfactory resolution. Until that time, we will have no further comment.”
